FAQ
Questions people ask before reaching out.
Straight answers about cost, timeline, ownership, and what working with us looks like. If yours is not here, ask on the contact page. We respond to every serious inquiry.
Every project is scoped individually. Price depends on complexity, integrations, compliance requirements, and how much discovery we need before building.
We give you a fixed quote before work starts, not an open-ended hourly tab.
The first step is a short conversation and a written proposal with scope, timeline, and price. No charge for that.
Most projects run from a few weeks to a few months, depending on scope. A single workflow tool with one integration is faster than a multi-module system with compliance review.
We break work into milestones so you see progress early, not everything at the end. You get a timeline in the proposal before we start.
If you have a hard deadline, tell us upfront. We will say honestly whether it is realistic.
Yes. You own the code, the data, and the infrastructure we set up for your project.
There is no per-seat licensing and no platform lock-in. If you ever move on, you take it with you. We document what we build so your team or another vendor can maintain it.
We stand behind what we ship. If something breaks because of how we built it, we fix it.
After launch, most clients keep us on for maintenance: bug fixes, small improvements, and keeping integrations current as upstream systems change. We can structure that as a monthly retainer or per-request, depending on what you expect to need.
Larger new features get scoped and quoted separately, the same way the original project did.
We design for the sensitivity level your work requires. That includes access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and least-privilege permissions.
For regulated industries (healthcare, legal, financial services), we follow the constraints that apply: HIPAA-aligned hosting and workflows where needed, data handling agreements, and no training on your data without explicit agreement.
We will tell you upfront if a project needs specific compliance steps and what that adds to scope.
A 30-minute call where you walk us through the problem: what happens today, what breaks, and what better looks like.
After that, examples help but are not required: a sample document, a screenshot of the spreadsheet, or a rough workflow sketch. We ask follow-up questions if we need more detail.
You do not need a technical spec. You need someone who knows the operation and can make decisions.
That is normal. Most clients start with a pain point, not a product definition.
We help you translate "this takes too long" or "we keep making mistakes here" into a concrete scope. Discovery is part of how we work, not something you have to finish before calling.
If we cannot see a path to a useful tool, we will say so. We would rather turn down a bad fit than sell you something vague.
No. We have shipped tools in healthcare, legal, insurance, construction, property management, and operations-heavy businesses of other kinds.
What matters is whether the problem is a real workflow gap we can build software around, not whether it matches a case study on our site. If your industry has compliance requirements, we account for that in the build.
